Eddie Meaders
B.A., Abilene Christian University (1982); J.D., Texas Tech University
(1985); M.A., University of North Texas (2002).
Professor Meaders is both the undergraduate adviser and the assistant graduate
advisor for the department. In addition, he teaches courses in American Politics, specializing in judicial politics.
He also teaches a class on the legal systems of the United Kingdom which is part
of the department's London program. Born in California, he grew up in Houston,
Texas. He served as County Attorney of Jones County, Texas from 1985 to 1990. He
still practices some law, but considers himself more as a "recovering"
attorney who really likes the academic environment more than the practice of
law.
